It’s been awhile since we’ve done a geek chic round-up! Today’s post features a lot of companies that are either new to the geek world or that we’ve never posted about before. From make-up, to purses, to new clothing brands, there’s a little something for everyone!
Everything is coming up glass slippers! Disney has pulled out all the stops to collaborated with some great companies to release an abundance of unique Cinderella merchandise. Ranging from two unique clothing collections, to make-up and nails, and even designer shoes, there’s no shortage of great items to satiate any Cinderella fan.
Christmas is upon us once again! While this year’s Gift Guides are coming out a lot later than planned, it’s never too late for now (been watching too much 30 Rock), and for any of you last minute shoppers still scrambling for gift ideas, hopefully these lists will help you out!
But be quick, most online shops need you to order no later than Friday (today!) to arrive by Christmas. First up on our gift guides, some of our favorite purses/bags that will look great under the tree.
Our third installment of gift guides for the holidays this year features some great items for the home and office. From the kitchen, to the bed, and everything in between, you can show your geekiness off in style with any of these selections!
The #NERDVEMBER fun isn’t quite over yet! We wanted to devote a separate post to some of our favorite looks some of you created, as well as announce some bonus winners!
It’s been awhile since we’ve posted about new geeky licensed fabrics, ranging from Disney designs to some great female DC heroes, we’ve rounded up some great new designs that are sure to wow in all your DIY creations.
One of my favorite parts of SDCC, other than the fashion show, is checking out new geek merchandise. Many of my favorite places to buy from are often online sources, so being able to see what everything looks like in person is always a treat. I hit the floor on Friday and Saturday on the look out for anything geek chic to wear or for the home.
Once again, I really think they hit it out of the park with the packaging. The delicate floral motif is really befitting of Snow White. The collection also features a great selection of earth tones, and lovely reds for those rose inspired lips. As always, this collection comes at a very affordable price ranging from $4.99 to $9.99.
I’ve been impressed in the last few years by the make-up collections that have been coming out based around popular licenses. e.l.f has been especially prominent with their Disney villain collections that coincide with Halloween. It seems like they may be breaking the mold with their latest collection inspired by Disney’s The Little Mermaid. With lovely colors paired with great packaging, and great prices, this collection is sure to fly off the shelves!
Hopefully you’ve already known about the blow-your-mind awesomeness that is Bambino Amore from our spotlight post on them back in December, but regardless of whether you’re familiar with them or not, you’re in for a treat! Already offering quite a spread of gorgeously crafted fandom-inspired apron designs, they’ve been steadily adding to their repertoire with some fantastic new offerings.
