Once again, I really think they hit it out of the park with the packaging. The delicate floral motif is really befitting of Snow White. The collection also features a great selection of earth tones, and lovely reds for those rose inspired lips. As always, this collection comes at a very affordable price ranging from $4.99 to $9.99.
I’ve been impressed in the last few years by the make-up collections that have been coming out based around popular licenses. e.l.f has been especially prominent with their Disney villain collections that coincide with Halloween. It seems like they may be breaking the mold with their latest collection inspired by Disney’s The Little Mermaid. With lovely colors paired with great packaging, and great prices, this collection is sure to fly off the shelves!
When posting our Stunning Style outfits, often I find that some of the items we’ve posted are often no longer available. That being the case, I wanted to post a collection of my recent finds both in store and online so that you have the opportunity to grab things while they’re still around. Some of these will definitely make an appearance in future Stunning Styles! (A special thanks to my husband for being the hand model in many of these photos)
You might not think about it, but being a chic geek isn’t restricted to clothing or home décor. As our highlight post on makeup artist Siyrn illustrated, makeup is a fascinating corner of the geek chic world that I believe is still a bit unfamiliar to some, if not most, of us.
I’m a bit skittish when it comes to makeup, so I’m always looking for advice and tips from magazines. I love the pieces that cover what a certain star wore, especially when they’re geek related. Nothing sells me faster on an item than being told it’s recommended if you want to look like Cersei from Game of Thrones, or is THE thing to get if you want to have those amazing red lips like Anne Hathaway did as Catwoman.
This week’s DIY Friday is all about…makeup!
I don’t know the first thing about eyeshadow, let alone what shape and style of brush to use where, but thanks to fashion-forward, stylish geeks like Dawn Banks, even the least makeup savvy of us have the ability to look geeky beautiful.
While Sephora and Hello Kitty aren’t strangers to teaming up, their new collections, which debuted at the beginning of May, were way too CUTE to pass up. Their summer collection consists of the Hello Kitty Pretty collection and the Hello Kitty Big Pink Bow fragrance collection. I headed to my local Sephora to check out the products in person.
