Last weekend, Scruffy and I had the pleasure of attending Comikaze both as panelists and as fans of the con. For us, the highlight of the con had to be the Geek Fashion Show. Seven designers had the opportunity to showcase their geek chic designs which ranged from dresses, to swim wear, and even shoes!
Around here, we’re big fans of Espionage Cosmetics, especially their nail wraps. Last year they launched a highly successful Kickstarter campaign to create geeky nail wraps inspired by Tetris, Dr. Who, Star Trek, and more. Well, they’re not done yet! New company Gold Bubble Clothing has been teasing the launch of their brand since they debuted a few of their pieces at Comikaze Expo earlier this month. Thankfully the wait is over for those loving their Alphonse Mucha and Camilla d’Errico printed pieces, and they’ll be officially launching tomorrow, Black Friday, at 10 AM PST!

As we’ve discussed before, adding a little something to your nails is a great way to show off your geeky pride. While we’ve covered nail polish in a few posts, like this one or this one, we haven’t taken a good look at what’s available in terms of nail decals or fake nail sets.
