Tomorrow we’re heading down to San Diego but we have just one more SDCChic entry for you, ours! We couldn’t issue a challenge without taking the opportunity to put together outfits, and here are a few we’ll be wearing throughout the weekend.

SDCChic with The Stylish Geek
We’re just days away from the biggest con of the year, and we’re continuing with our SDCChic series with some new outfits put together by Emily of The Stylish Geek! Emily is known for her geektastic outfits of the day, cosplay, and is one of the lucky few part of this year’s Her Universe fashion show.
Similar to Mandie, her outfits feature a signature piece paired with different accessories. Additionally, her evening outfits are inspired by cosplay, and even feature some handmade pieces made by Emily herself.
SDCChic with Geek Pinata
We hope you’ve been enjoying our SDCChic series and that it’s inspired you to put together some great looks for SDCC or upcoming cons! Today’s entry comes from Crystal from Geek Pinata. Like us, she covers posts about geek fashion, conventions, and has recently been posting geek chic outfits of the day.
Crystal approached our challenge by putting together outfits that include con tips and really paid attention to the location (like the proximity of the con to the beach!)
SDCChic with Geeky Glamorous
This week we’re featuring various geek fashion bloggers in our very first SDCChic. Each one has put together two day and two night outfits befitting of the biggest geek weekend of the year. Today we’re have Mandie of Geeky Glamorous fame. Mandie focuses on outfits of the day, local events, giveaways, and even had her wedding featured on SyFy.
SDCChic with The Nerdy Girlie
2Now that we’ve covered the great geek fashion events that are happening at this year’s comic con, we wanted to do something fun leading up to the big event. We contacted various fashion bloggers to participate in our very first SDCChic!
SDCChic is a showcase of geek fashion looks that are perfect for comic con. Whether you’re attending panels, checking out various events outside the con, or making an appearance at great parties, there’s a look that will fit the bill. Each participant was challenged to put together four outfits, two day looks and two evening looks, based on what SDCChic meant to them.
Geek Fashion Events and Panels at SDCC
1SDCC has finally released their programming schedule, and with a little more than a week until the geek extravaganza of the year, we’ve put together a list of great fashion events that you just can’t miss.
2015 Her Universe Fashion Show Update
*this post will be updated as more details become available
We’re not sure about the rest of you, but at least for Lindz and I, the highlight and focus for WonderCon this past weekend was checking out the Her Universe panel to get the latest details on this year’s Fashion Show, as well as get exclusive sneak peeks at their new Marvel line. It was a panel that far exceeded our wildest expectations and we’re here to spill the details!
Geek Chic Finds at SDCC 2014
1One of my favorite parts of SDCC, other than the fashion show, is checking out new geek merchandise. Many of my favorite places to buy from are often online sources, so being able to see what everything looks like in person is always a treat. I hit the floor on Friday and Saturday on the look out for anything geek chic to wear or for the home.
SDCC and Her Universe Present the First Geek Couture Fashion Show
7It’s been quiet around here lately, and today’s post will explain just the reason! As many of you know, San Diego Comic Con happened recently, and with it came the first ever Geek Couture Fashion show. Scruffy and I were both lucky enough to be chosen to participate along with 34 other designers from around the country. I have to say, the competition was fierce!
Her Universe Fashion Show – Finalists Announced
2Her Universe made their official announcement today, releasing the names of the finalists for the Her Universe Fashion Show Contest, whose designs will walk the runway this July and San Diego Comic Con.
We’re very excited at the list of names, there’s even a few male designers listed! Okay, and we might be excited about the list because both Lindz and myself are finalists! We can’t wait to see all the beautiful designs in July and hope you’ll check out the show if you’re coming to Comic Con.
Congratulations to all the finalists, and all the entrants, period. Many incredible designs were submitted and we hope that designers that didn’t get picked will still make their designs!
