The Marvelous movie summer just began with Captain America 2, and we’re all set to see next in the line up, The Amazing Spider-Man 2. I started spotting some great merch in stores, like this beauty, and decided that we were far overdue for a Spidey post.
Alongside Hot Topic, Forever 21 and Wet Seal are two of the top companies where you can find fun and stylish superhero apparel to add to your wardrobe. While both companies have an abundance of licensed Marvel apparel, Forever 21 gets bonus points for also carrying licensed DC Comics apparel! Be sure to check out your local Forever 21 store, especially for Batman gear, as the website doesn’t always list all of the gear to be found in stores.

A few years ago I decided to do a month long challenge. I was growing my hair out at the time, and was getting bored with just wearing it down or putting it in a pony tail, so I decided to try a new hairstyle for the entire month of November. Well, this year I’m itching for a new challenge, and decided to include you guys in on the fun! For the month of November, Scruffy and I are going to try and incorporate something geeky into our daily looks. It’ll be either a fun accessory, or maybe an entire outfit. Pretty much, a reason to dress up a bit more than we typically do on a daily basis.
So where do you come in? Well, we want you to give it a try too! If you participate even a day, you’ll be entered in a raffle to win a prize. If you go for the gold and participate for at least 25 days, the prize is even better.

I definitely love our readers since they love linking us to new geeky release or items around the web. So imagine my pure glee when we were linked to this new collection from Forever 21. In case it’s not apparent at this point, we maaaaay have a thing for Batman related apparel and items around here (examples one, two, and three).
When looking for last minute cosplay items for this year’s comic con, I went in search at my local mall and stumbled upon some amazing finds. Both Wet Seal and Forever 21 have honed in on the geek market which means more stuff for us!
With both summer movie blockbusters and convention season in full swing, it’s always fun to update your wardrobe with new items to flaunt your geek. Here’s are just a few items that we spotted around the web.
Some outfits come together naturally with items already on hand, and others are inspired by great accessories or items you find. That was totally the case with this outfit. I found this great triforce cuff on etsy and just had to put together a Zelda inspired look.
Today’s outfit is more of casual, warm weather look with shorts, a fashionable top, and some great accessories.

That being the case, I wanted to post a collection of my recent finds both in store and online so that you have the opportunity to grab things while they’re still around.
