One of my favorite parts of SDCC, other than the fashion show, is checking out new geek merchandise. Many of my favorite places to buy from are often online sources, so being able to see what everything looks like in person is always a treat. I hit the floor on Friday and Saturday on the look out for anything geek chic to wear or for the home.
The Star Wars pavilion usually has the best and most unique selection of items, and this year was no exception. We spotted headphones, car accessories, and of course, clothes!
One of three We Love Fine booths was in the pavilion, and I have to say, they’ve been absolutely killing it with the merchandise they’ve been releasing recently. Just a few of my favorites include the button up character shirts, character shorts, and the bomber jacket.
As we reported in April, Black Milk Clothing was going to be at the con, so we took the opportunity to take a look at their new Disney collection up close. I have to say, at first I wasn’t really sure about the collection, but after seeing it, I really loved how vibrant all the pieces looked. The Painting the Roses Red skirt was especially nice.
The Thinkgeek booth had some great Game of Thrones items coming out later this year.
Lastly, the Weta booth featured some beautiful jewelry from both The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings. I don’t think it’s possible to pick my favorite.
What’s your favorite? Any of you happen to go to the con and grab some great stuff? Let us know!
I ended up grabbing some Marvel items from HerUniverse and WeLoveFine! And those Black Milk pieces do look really vibrant in your photos!
