Fairy Godmother Inspired Fashion of Cinderella

1

stscinderellaEverything is coming up glass slippers! Disney has pulled out all the stops to collaborated with some great companies to release an abundance of unique Cinderella merchandise. Ranging from two unique clothing collections, to make-up and nails, and even designer shoes, there’s no shortage of great items to satiate any Cinderella fan.

Hot Topic was the first Cinderella collection that I came across, and luckily their trend of more fashionable doesn’t seem to be ending any time soon. While some of their pieces aren’t currently available online, I did spot quite a few of them at my local store.

A collection that I was pleasantly surprised to see was the Lauren Conrad collection exclusively at Kohls. The great part is, unlike the Hot Topic pieces, these are for those of us who may not fit into junior sizes.

Both Gelish and Morgan Taylor have released coinciding nail collections featuring a variety of shades and glitter colors.

Once again, M.A.C. Cosmetics has collaborated with Disney for and exclusive make-up collection. While the packaging isn’t nearly as interesting as ones we’ve seen in the past, the colors are very romantic.

Lastly, I had to share this final collaboration. Playing a pivotal role in the story, it was no surprise that Disney asked some of the best shoe designers to come up with their own take on the iconic glass slipper. The designers include Jimmy Choo, Nicholas Kirkwood, Charlotte Olympia, Stewart Weitzman, Salvatore Ferragamo, Paul Andrew, Alexandre Birman, René Caovilla and Jerome Rousseau with Swarovski providing crystals to ornament the designs. The shoes will be on display starting this week at Saks Fifth Ave Bal Harbour, and you’ll also be able to order a custom pair (which would probably require the help of a fairy godmother to afford).
