Stunning Style: Look #28

When I think of spring, bright colors come to mind, and this outfit has that in spades. Plus, it’s also a great outfit for all those upcoming cons that start in the spring!

  • Top
      • I picked up this Superman top at Kohls this past summer. I really liked the foil look on the design and thought the size of the logo was very flattering.
      • Of course, I needed a jacket to compliment the top, so I got something with a punch of color. I’ll admit, I wasn’t very sure about it before, but it’s kind of fun to wear a bright jacket like this. I found it in the clearance section at Old Navy, but I think a red blazer like this one would look great too!

  • Accessories
      • The clutch was a DIY I had made with fabric from Joann. Since I had incorporated some red into the design, I thought it would pair perfectly with my outfit.

  • Shoes
      • I knew I couldn’t go wrong with some red flats for this outfit. Since I decided to go with a more neutral pant, I knew I could get away with a bright shoe while still maintaining some balance. I picked these up at Charlotte Russe.

While I tend to stay away from bright colors typically, it was pretty fun putting together an outfit that’s out of my comfort zone. I even ended up getting a jacket that I wouldn’t have considered under normal circumstances, and it’s one of my favorite pieces now.
