Since we posted about various bags on Monday, I figured having a bag theme for Friday’s DIY would be the perfect way to wrap things up this week. I’ve been seeing a lot of ruffled bags lately, so I figured why not transform a regular tote into something a little more frilly and geeky?
Today’s DIY is easy but pretty time consuming. I recommend this as a weekend project, or week long project if you work full time or go to school full time. Without further ado, I give you the Tetris pillow cover!
I’m back after my crazy, awesome weekend! This week I wanted to make something that is not only quick, but easy as well. Here is my version of a Star Wars themed no-sew bow headband.
I’m always rummaging around the discounted/clearance section of stores like Target to see what great items might be found that would be great to use for crafts. I picked up these wallets a few weeks ago knowing they’d be great for a future decoupage project, and finally got around to doing something with them this week.
You could decoupage multiple, smaller images onto these wallets for more of a collage look, but they were a perfect size to allow for a single, large image to be decoupaged onto them, so it’s almost like having a mini comic book or art print for a wallet!
I wanted to whip up something quick and easy for today’s DIY, and what better inspiration than The Dark Knight Rises! You can easily do this craft in about 30 minutes, and then wear your creation out to the movies.
