This week’s Stunning Style highlights some great pieces from Her Universe! Featuring a Star Wars hoodie, Boba Fett top, plus some fan-made Star Destroyer earrings, I consider this my Empire-themed outfit.
I’m a huge fan of Her Universe products, so you’ll definitely be seeing other Stunning Style looks using her shirts.

Sorry for the lack of post on Friday, we were knee deep in San Diego Comic Con. To make up for it, here are some geek chic items and some great geeky outfits we saw this year.

Joining our weekly DIY posts, we are thrilled to introduce a weekly “lookbook” post featuring Lindz or myself in a geek chic outfit we have put together. Whether it’s licensed items, DIY creations, or a combination of the two, there’s an endless amount of geeky looks to be had.
One of the best things about checking out DIY tutorials is getting inspiration for other crafts! When Lindz posted up her tutorial on making a fabric covered belt, I thought of a different craft I could use the same materials for: a fabric headband.
This is a really fun and simple craft you could complete in about an hour or two from start to finish, and given the variety of geeky licensed fabric prints out there, there’s really no limit to the number of headbands (or belts!) you can make for yourself and your friends.
Since I started working on this blog, I’m constantly on the lookout for new items that become available that might be of interest to you guys. I decided to compile a list of things I’ve come across lately online. The great thing is it seems like more and more stores are carrying awesome geeky items, although not always in their brick and mortar locations. So snatch these up quickly since they might not be around for long!
It’s Friday, so let’s tear it up, literally, with today’s DIY! I love it when gals take old and/or overly large shirts and alter them into a fitted, trendy top. This is an especially fun thing to do with all the men’s shirts you find that have awesome geeky designs you love.
You want to wear that design, but you want to look cute wearing it, right? Me too, and so even though there are so awesome and crafty designers on places like eBay and Etsy selling ripped up, slashed, tied back and twisted geeky shirts, I decided to try my own hand at it.

This past Friday marked the start of Star Wars Weekends. For those of you lucky enough to visit Walt Disney World between now and June 10th, you’ll get to experience shows, meet various Star Wars celebrities, and even eat some tasty treats.
