I really wanted to put together a look that could work as a casual outfit or as something a bit more dressy. I also thought that my JumpFromPaper purse would look great with a Batman inspired outfit.
So channeling a little bit of Adam West, this outfit features a vintage shirt, a DIY fascinator, and a fun 2d purse.

With just a few days until Thanksgiving, my favorite time of the year is quickly approaching, Christmas decorating! I usually try to hold off until after Thanksgiving, but figured it wouldn’t hurt to list some of the great geeky holiday finds I’ve come across. Check them out below!
The place with probably the best all around decor is Thinkgeek. Ranging from wreaths to stockings, here are a few of my favorite picks.
Awesome geeky merchandise being in the kid’s section of stores has never stopped this geek, and it shouldn’t stop you either! Just because some marketing or licensing department thought such-and-such item should be for kids instead of adults, or boys instead of girls, should never stop you from wanting it, and getting it.
That’s definitely true when it comes to the awesome geek-themed bedding that can be found at Pottery Barn Kids.

While our third Stunning Style is a perfect look for a day like Halloween, today’s style shows a different ensemble you can pull together around the same top that’s a bit more casual, but still full of geeky style.
A fun trend I’ve seen popping up are tunic tanks or tank dresses that also have a little geek flair along with them. Halloween has definitely helped to inspire this look for a quick costume, but I also think that a lot of these designs would look great with some chic layering and accessories. Purse covers are a great solution to get the bag you want, without sewing an entire one yourself from scratch. Plus, you then have the option to make multiple covers so you can change out the look of the purse depending on your outfit or mood.
Here’s a bag cover I whipped up after seeing one my friend Jessica had made.
When posting our Stunning Style outfits, often I find that some of the items we’ve posted are often no longer available. That being the case, I wanted to post a collection of my recent finds both in store and online so that you have the opportunity to grab things while they’re still around.
