The holiday season is here, but that shouldn’t stop you from rockin’ your geek style throughout the month.

Featuring a stunning shirt from Her Universe, and paired with a lovely flower headband and eye-catching glittery heels, this week’s look has just enough sparkle and style to be festively geeky for a semi-casual holiday outing or event.

• Top
  • The Padme Nouveau shirt from Her Universe is probably the loveliest Star Wars shirt on the market, let alone the most artistic. Featuring a gorgeous profile of Padme in her iconic Picnic Dress, the image always includes the Skywalker family and friends. The gold foil accents on this shirt, along with the elegant scarlet color make it an ideal top to style a dressier ensemble around. This is one of the first shirts Her Universe came out with, and possibly remains their best. I look forward to other tops like this being released.

• Pants
  • With a dressy top, you can keep it casual or semi-casual with a pair of jeans like the ones worn here. Or you could shift the look over to a dressier or more eye-catching style with a pair of leggings or dress pants.

• Shoes
  • Fellow cosplayers can probably relate, as these fantastic gold glitter heels are actually part of a cosplay that now double as part of my wardrobe. Called the Bombshell Heel, by Pinup Girl Clothing, these shoes are sure to be noticed. Their gold glitter appearance made them a perfect choice to pair with the Padme Nouveau shirt as it could play off the gold accents in the top.

• Accessories
  • When other parts of your ensemble already give enough of a wow factor, you can keep it simple with a few select accessories, or build it up. I chose to keep it simple and carried the gold accent theme into my hair with this gold flower and crystal headband from the Betsey Johnson website. The delicate features of the headband evoke a Padme-type style, and the shiny gold color blend it well together with the shirt and the shoes. Unfortunately the Betsey Johnson website isn’t quite the same since its return from bankruptcy. You’ll have to look on sites like eBay to possible score this headband. Target and Forever 21 are other great places to check out for lovely accessories.
