DIY Friday: Fabric Covered Headband
1One of the best things about checking out DIY tutorials is getting inspiration for other crafts! When Lindz posted up her tutorial on making a fabric covered belt, I thought of a different craft I could use the same materials for: a fabric headband.
This is a really fun and simple craft you could complete in about an hour or two from start to finish, and given the variety of geeky licensed fabric prints out there, there’s really no limit to the number of headbands (or belts!) you can make for yourself and your friends.

At the time, I wasn’t able to find any fabrics that featured all of the Avengers (that has since been remedied), but I did pick up this neat Captain America print. I decided that would be perfect for my next project, a fabric belt!

To show off my excitement for the Avengers, I wanted to make something fun and girly to wear in my hair, so here’s how I made the Avengers fascinator. This same method can totally be used for whatever you may be a fan of, so definitely alter it as you see fit!

14This is the first of many DIY posts we hope to do. In honor of May 4th, “Star Wars Day”, here’s a fun decoupage shoe tutorial that shows how you too can sport your own pair of Star Wars heels or flats.
