I’m back after my crazy, awesome weekend! This week I wanted to make something that is not only quick, but easy as well. Here is my version of a Star Wars themed no-sew bow headband.

5I’m on my way to Vegas today, as the largest official Star Trek convention starts tomorrow! To continue the love of all things Starfleet and beyond, this week’s Stunning Style is appropriately Star Trek themed.
Some of you might recognize that I’m wearing the Anovos replica of the Trek 11 uniform, and you’d be correct! This week’s outfit is all about cosplaying in plain sight while looking like you’re just rockin’ a cool, unusual outfit to the general public.

DIY Friday: Decoupage Wallet
9I’m always rummaging around the discounted/clearance section of stores like Target to see what great items might be found that would be great to use for crafts. I picked up these wallets a few weeks ago knowing they’d be great for a future decoupage project, and finally got around to doing something with them this week.
You could decoupage multiple, smaller images onto these wallets for more of a collage look, but they were a perfect size to allow for a single, large image to be decoupaged onto them, so it’s almost like having a mini comic book or art print for a wallet!

1Since my wedding is this week and has some geeky 8 bit elements, I decided the outfit for this week should also match that theme!
This Tetris swimsuit was my main inspiration, and the rest came together from stuff I either had, made, or got from Etsy.

5It’s been over a month since the first post where we let you know what awesome geek finds we were spotting locally. I’ve been popping over to Target and Walmart the past few weeks and they’ve both got some great geek items in stock right now.
