The Marvelous movie summer just began with Captain America 2, and we’re all set to see next in the line up, The Amazing Spider-Man 2. I started spotting some great merch in stores, like this beauty, and decided that we were far overdue for a Spidey post.
Like with any recent movie release, we’re starting to see merchandise for the new Maleficent movie being released. While some of it is really fun, some of it misses the mark completely.
It’s that time of year again. The weather is getting warmer, days are getting longer, and of course, new geeky swimsuits are being released! I’m always excited to see what new looks companies have come up with, and what styles are going to be popular. If these are any indication, it’s going to be a summer full of comics and Disney.
It seems like there’s been a torrential downpour of Black Milk Clothing releases lately, and even with the DC Heroes Ammo release happening later today, there’s still room for more! Something Her Universe had mentioned to us last year was the possibility of a geek fashion show happening at San Diego Comic Con in 2014, and we’re thrilled to see that it’s totally happening! Not only that, but it’s up to geeks like all of us to come up with some great designs for the show.

It’s no secret around these parts that both Scruffy and I are HUGE fans of a particular Dark Knight. So, it’s definitely no surprise that we’re extremely excited about Black Milk Clothing’s new release I am the Batman! This collection boasts both printed designs that include Batman heroes and foes, and some designer pieces that are influenced by the comics.

This time of year, my social media pages are full of people trying to motivate themselves to be more fit and workout. Now, while I’m not fond of those inspiration images usually seen around Pinterest telling me what I should or shouldn’t do, I am fond of messages that get me a little more pumped up to go to the gym. Especially, when those messages are nerdy AND on workout clothes. Activate Apparel is a company I touched on back in this post, and since I’ve been seeing them pop up on friend’s pages, I figured checking out their new stuff would be worth a look.
