As you might know, we’re big fans of 1928 Jewelry’s Marvel pieces around these parts as seen here, and here. Which is why, when I talked to them at Comikaze, I was extremely sad to hear they would not be renewing their Marvel license after the end of this year. Perhaps the only good to come out of this news is they’re now offering their pieces at 50% discount!

Fall is just around the corner, though for Lindz and me, it will be continue to be summer for quite some time here in sunny So Cal! But, in the future we hope to include more colder weather appropriate styles since we forget that the rest of the country/world experiences temperatures other than hot, and really hot.
This week’s Stunning Style is a pants and jacket combo, which works great for colder weather, or even just a night on the town.

I wanted to create an outfit that would be great for going out. I pieced it together with some basic items and then added the geeky flair with accessories and a cute crop top.
For look #2, I put together an Avengers inspired outfit. I wanted to create an outfit that had a good mixture of DIY and licensed pieces. For those of you who have been following this blog from the beginning, you might recognize a lot of these items.

Since today is the launch of our blog, what better way to celebrate than to focus on something big and geeky happening this weekend, The Avengers! What’s been great about this movie is that there has been a huge increase of Marvel related merchandise, so I figured why not feature a few of my favorites that I’ve come across.
