You only need a few key pieces in your wardrobe from which you can build various stylish ensembles. You’ve seen these leggings and boots before, but this time they’ve been paired with a different top, yet another great piece from Her Universe!

This look is at its simplest form here, but could easily be restyled with the simple addition of a jacket or jewelry.

• This Han and Leia shirt was available from Her Universe and was an instant buy for me. The subtly and beauty of the artwork makes it incredibly appealing, as well as the fact that it’s known as the “I know” shirt since it depicts that infamous and unique exchange of love between Han and Leia before he’s frozen in carbonite. This shirt is, unfortunately, no longer carried at Her Universe, but at this point in time they have come out with a lot of great new designs and styles, and I’m looking forward to whatever new products are yet to come. Her Universe is a definite must for the geek wardrobe, and is a great foundation to building a stylish ensemble.

    • You might recognize these boots from some of my previous looks, Look #4 and Look #7. As you can see, I’m quite fond of using these boots! These simple but stylish low-heeled, knee-high black boots are my general go-to choice to complete a look when I’m not sure what shoes to wear. They’re like a feminized version of the Imperial Officer boots…or so I tell myself.
    • Low-heeled boots like these, or pumps, can really dress up a look, whereas sneakers or sandals will make it something more casual. One thing I know for sure, boots are always in style! Stores I’m always keeping an eye on for great boots include Target, DSW, and Nordstrom.

    If you’re like me, you might get frustrated if you don’t have a lot of money to spend on clothing. But don’t fret! Money isn’t really the key when it comes to having a chic geek outfit, great pieces are! Make sure your wardrobe has a great foundation of a few key pieces, like a sharp looking jacket, a flattering pair of pants, or a stylish pair of shoes, and you’ll be able to create many different pieces by adding just one or two new pieces into the mix.
