We had the opportunity this weekend to attend an event held by a fellow geeky blogger, Mandie of Geeky Glamorous fame. The event was located at Japan L.A. and featured art celebrating all that’s geeky, and girly! In addition to the artwork, there was even a contest for outfits that were fashionably geek along with some equally fashionably and geeky prizes.

3A fun trend I’ve seen popping up are tunic tanks or tank dresses that also have a little geek flair along with them. Halloween has definitely helped to inspire this look for a quick costume, but I also think that a lot of these designs would look great with some chic layering and accessories. 1In the spirit of The Dark Knight Rises coming out this Friday, the look for this week is a Batman themed ensemble.
A lot of my geeky outfits start with one piece, and grow from there. This Batman themed outfit was no exception. I started with the leggings, and the rest of the look pulled together naturally after that!
